6th August - Game abandoned due to serious injury

On an evening of great expectations and anticipation against fancied Div 1 side Horsham YMCA, who were fielding their full front team squad, tradegy struck in the 35th minute when YMCA player James Rhodes went to ground from a nothing challenge and badly broke his arm on impact.

An ambulance was called and treatment was given to James for 20+ minutes.

Up until then the game had been very evenly balanced with the best chance falling to Horsham whose close range shot was somehow deflected over the bar by Doug Saunders from practically on his own goal line; yet Pottage had had more attempts on goal. In the short period of the game there were some performances of note.

More importantly though, from all at PPVFC our thoughts are with James and we wish him a speedy recovery.

3rd August -  Pottage continue their good form with two wins in another Saturday double header
